Become an LOTN Voice Ambassador

We've had an incredible response to LOTN Voice — hundreds of lot owners from across Lakes of the North have already registered. But with thousands of lots across LOTN, there's still a lot of ground to cover. The best way to reach neighbors who haven't heard about this yet? Another neighbor they already know. We're looking for LOTN Voice Ambassadors — property owners who are willing to personally reach out to a group of neighbors in their subdivision to share what LOTN Voice is and invite them to get involved. Once we know how many volunteers step up, we'll divide the lots fairly so no one is overwhelmed. You'll get a personal dashboard to track your outreach and see your impact in real time. And as a thank-you for your effort — hit your registration goal and we'll send you a free coffee. ☕ No experience needed. No pressure. Just neighbor talking to neighbor. When we reach 20 ambassadors, we'll host our first community Q&A meeting.

Amendments Updated + Feedback Now Open

Based on community input — especially from members who reached out directly — we've updated several proposed amendments and added three new ones (Amendments 10, 11, and 12). Changes include updated ACC timing, refined home occupation standards, added recreational equipment storage guidance, flag permissions, and modernized voting procedures. We've also added a private feedback feature: after voting on any amendment, you can share your thoughts directly with the organizing team. Your input shapes the final language before any formal vote.

A Note on Co-Owner Registrations

We've noticed some spouses and co-owners registering the same lots separately — thank you for bearing with us as we get this right! Each lot should only be registered once. Here's why: when the time comes to send the legally required 90-day written notice to all lot owners, our mailing list is built from registrations. If the same lot is registered twice, we'd send two envelopes to the same address — doubling the cost. For the vote count, the 2/3 threshold is based on lots, not people — one lot registered once counts as one vote. Good news: you can now add a co-owner or spouse email directly on the registration form, so both of you receive updates without needing separate registrations. If you've already registered the same lots as your spouse, no action needed — we'll handle any cleanup. Thank you for your patience and enthusiasm!
